Twister Deals Feature
IPoker presents the brand-new Twister Deals feature, which allows the players to make a deal during the Heads-up phase of the tournament. When a player proposes a deal, and the opponent player accepts it, the tournament ends, and the players receive prizes according to the deal conditions.
The Twister Deals functionality offers two deal types – equal split deal or proportional split deal.
- In case of an equal split deal, the system splits the tournament prize equally to both players. Example: if the tournament prize is 10 Euro and the players agree on an equal split deal, each player will receive 5 Euro.
- In case of a proportional split deal, the system splits the tournament prize proportionally based on the player’s stack sizes following the last played hand. Example: The tournament prize is 100 Euro. Player A has 70 chips, whereas, Player B has 30 chips. If the players agree on a proportional split deal, Player A will receive 70 Euro, and Player B will receive 30 Euro.
Important: The feature is supported only on Classic Twister tournaments configured with cash prizes.
When a player participates in a Classic Twister tournament, and the tournament enters into the heads-up phase, the Twister Deals icon appears on the table and expands to inform the player that the player can offer a deal to his/her opponent.

If the player does not take any action, the Twister Deals notification disappears after a few seconds
Note:
- If an even split deal is configured for the current multiplier, then this is written in the notification text; however, in case of a proportional split deal (as on the image above), the deal type is not specified in the notification text.
- When the player sees the feature for the very first time, the Twister Deals icon will appear together with a tooltip providing information about the functionality. The player can also see the tooltip at any point, by expanding the icon and selecting the i icon at the right end.

When the player wants to offer a deal to his opponent, the player should click/tap on the Twister Deals icon to expand it (Pic.1) and then tick the checkbox to offer a deal discussion after this hand (Pic.2). Upon doing so, the “Want a deal?” text appears on the table, next to the player offering the deal (Pic.3).

At the same time, the other player is asked whether s/he agrees to discuss a deal after the hand:

- If the player does not take any action regarding the deal offer, the notification collapses, and a question mark appears on top of the Twister Deals icon to indicate that a deal has been offered. The player is still able to expand the Twisters Deals icon and accept the deal.
- If the player accepts the deal (ticks the checkbox), the “Deal accepted” notification appears next to the player who accepted the deal (Pic.4). When the “Deal accepted” notification disappears, another notification appears, informing the players that the deal will take place after the current hand (Pic.5). When the hand ends, a popup with the deal conditions appears for both players.
Example of a popup for a proportional-split Twister deal:

As visible above, the popup informs the player about what will happen if both players accept the deal, as well as what will happen if one of the players declines it. In addition, the popup informs the player about the prize the player will receive if the deal gets settled. The players have several seconds to decide.
- If both players agree with the conditions of the deal and accept it, a popup informs the players that the deal has been made, and the tournament ends.
- If the players conclude a proportional split deal, the player with the higher chip stack is considered as winner, whereas the other player is qualified second.
- If the players conclude an even-split deal, both players are considered winners. As soon as the deal is concluded, an animated end of tournament message appears and informs the players that they have won “X” amount of money as a result of a deal.
- If one of the players declines the deal, the tournament continues as usual.
Note: When a player is considered a winner as a result of a Twister Deal, the player still completes any missions related to the tournament.
In addition, the Hand History allows the players to quickly distinguish the Twister tournaments that ended with a deal thanks to the “Deal Made” text that appears next to the finishing position of the player.
The players can enable/disable the Twister Deals functionality via the new Twister Deals option in the Table section of the Settings. When the player selects the option, the Twister Deals preferences popup appears.
