POKER BINGO FUNCTIONALITY
A unique Poker Bingo feature - the player gets a Bingo card with 25 random cards instead of numbers. The player can make a line/pattern by matching their pocket cards to the Bingo cards instead of waiting for numbers to be called. In short, the player collects pocket cards to complete a line/pattern and win a prize. The player has the appropriate amount of hands to collect the cards of the required pattern). A Poker Bingo card can offer up to six prizes, with up to six patterns/lines that the player needs to collect.
How to win a Bingo card?
Players can earn bingo cards as rewards for completion of missions (leaderboards, promotions).
Where to access my Bingo card(s)?
Players can view their bingo cards on the Poker Bingo page in the client's main lobby. This page shows all the active and inactive bingo cards that the player has. The Bingo page is where players can check their progress and bingo card status.
Example of the Poker Bingo page in the Download Desktop client:
Each bingo card contains the following:
- Bingo card status – shows whether the card is active or inactive. Inactive Bingo cards will be removed from the Poker Bingo page 14 days after they have been completed (Completed status) or have expired (Expired status).
- Expiration – shows the date and time when the card will expire.
- Info icon (“i”) – selecting the icon opens a popup with information about the Poker Bingo rules, available prizes, and winning combinations.
- "Win up to X” - displays the total amount of prizes that can be won from the respective Bingo card. It is shown only on the Poker Bingo page.
- Patterns - shows the different patterns and the corresponding prize for completing each one. When a player completes a given pattern, a checkmark appears over it to indicate the completion.
- Card Board – shows the pocket cards that the player needs to collect to complete one or more patterns. Card Board is shown only in the detailed view of the Bingo card, which appears when you hover over/tap on the Poker Bingo image and select the Preview button.
- The number of hands the player has to complete the Bingo card.
Players can also find bingo cards in the Promotion Hub at the table, but they will only see cards that are valid for that table.
How to play the Poker Bingo game?
When a player receives a new Poker Bingo card, the player will be notified about it on the Poker Bingo page in the lobby or on the poker table. A notification will also appear in the Promotional Hub at the table if the player gets a bingo card while playing.
Players can read more information about how to play the game if they click on the “i” of each bingo card. In this section, they can also see a table of the prizes and winning probabilities for each pattern.
There are two Opt-in methods available:
- Single card Opt-in – requires the player to opt-in for each bingo card separately.
- Multiple card opt-in – requires the player to opt-in once for all bingo cards.
After opting-in, players will start making progress by matching the cards on the bingo board with their pocket cards for each hand. When a card from the player’s pocket cards matches a card on the bingo board, it will be marked as collected.
The maximum number of cards that can be matched and collected per hand is two, since only two of the player’s hole cards are eligible for the poker bingo game. For other game types like Omaha, only the first two cards from the hole cards will be counted.
When all the cards on the bingo board that form a pattern are collected, that pattern is completed, and the player wins the prize for that pattern. This can happen for each of the patterns on that bingo card.
If the player has more than one Poker Bingo card on the same table, they can swipe between them and play them all at once.
The counter at the bottom of the bingo card shows how many hands are left for the player to complete as many patterns as possible. When it reaches 0, the card expires and stops matching any cards. When a card gets completed or expires while a player is playing on a table, it will become disabled, and it will not appear on any new table that the player opens.
How to claim prizes?
To claim a prize, the player needs to complete a pattern. Players can claim as many prizes as there are patterns on their Bingo card(s). When all patterns on a bingo card are completed, that card is also completed. When a player claims a prize from a bingo card, they will be notified by a PEM message or via an animation if they have opened their winning Bingo card in the Promotional Hub or in the mini view mode of the hub.
